What kinds of degrees are offered by the Center for Missions?
The Regent Center for Missions offers missions training at the certificate level through its Certificate of Recognition in Missions Equipping. Master's level training is offered through a variety of degree programs at Regent University :

What is the Certificate of Recognition is Missions Equipping?
The Regent University Center for Missions believes its Missions Equipping program provides the necessary preparation and skill development needed to engage successfully in cross-cultural missions work. This program can be completed in 1-2 years and is designed for students who desire in-depth missions training without pursuing a full degree. Courses are affordable and taught by Regent School of Divinity faculty at the Virginia Beach campus in a one-week, conference-style format. The Certificate of Recognition also involves cross-cultural ministry in the United States and a culminating missions exposure trip.
Are the degrees accredited?
The Certificate of Recognition in Missions Equipping qualifies for continuing education credit, but is not accredited. Regent University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. The School of Divinity itself is accredited by ATS, the Association of Theological Schools.
If I begin the Missions Equipping Program under continuing education, can I transfer to the Master's level?
No, you must apply directly to the master's program in which you are interested. C ontinuing education credits will not transfer. Classes must be completed at the Master's level in order to receive graduate credit.
Can I receive undergraduate credit for Missions Equipping courses (continuing education)? Bible School credit?
At present this training is not available at the undergraduate level. Courses may be taken at the Master's level and/or continuing education level. Please check with your institution to see if credits can transfer.
What classes are needed to complete a Certificate of Recognition in Missions Equipping or Advanced Missions Equipping?

How do I apply for the Missions Equipping Programs?
If you desire to take courses in the continuing education Missions Equipping Program you will need to apply directly to the Regent University Center for Missions. Are there on-campus resident requirements?
The Regent University Center for Missions courses are offered on-campus. The different master's programs at Regent University have their own residency requirements.

When are classes offered?
Certificate level and master's level classes are available throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters. See Degrees for current certificate-level schedule. Master's level classes may also be taught online or in one-week, modular formats. Check with the course schedules published by each school at Regent University .
How long does it take to finish a Certificate of Missions Equipping?
It will take approximately 1-2 years to complete the Certificate of Recognition Missions Equipping Program, and 2-3 years for most master's-level degrees. However, the length of training is dependant on both the student's time investment and class availability.
